Most of us view karma as a bad thing, we sling "karma is a bitch" and forget how rewarding she can be also. The reality is, karma is the intangible factor that creates balance. It is bad, good and everything in between that creates harmony in our universe. The sayings: "what goes around, comes around," "do onto others as you would want done to you and the variable circles of life are the many phrases and factors that define karma.
Because Karma is an omniscient divine source, its capacity can hear and see all things; its limits are not bound by space or time. The things we do today can affect us in the most peculiar, inconvenient or miraculous ways later on. Breaking someone's heart may come as a great karmic financial loss, perhaps even an illness and 20 years later at that; but the logical response would be the future heartbreak to the person who caused it, from someone else. This is where most of our understanding comes from. We can now relate to others when we have similar experiences.
I don't want you to confuse all hardship as negative karma. Some things are meant to teach you and negativity is inevitable no matter how great of a person you are. You know the saying, "It takes sunshine and rain for a flower to bloom" and ultimately The good and the bad is serving your highest good of growth
How to know you are experiencing a setback in preparation for a come-up vs. serving negative Karma
Setbacks in prep of leveling up typically comes with confusion. You're working hard and putting so much effort just to see little to no success in your endeavors. You're often questioning why you're experiencing this and what you did to be in this space. If you are experiencing something negative and you can't figure out why on God's green' earth you're going through it; nine times out of ten, that experience is to teach you, not a service of negative karma that you sent out in the universe to begin with.
Understand that we live in a checks and balances universe, what you put out will come back to you--no matter how long, time or circumstance. So think of Karma as the justice card, Its job is to create mere balance in the world. When receiving negative Karma, it is often served with feelings of guilt, paranoia and self-consciousness. Negative karma that comes quickly is typically a warning sign, a slap on the wrist. It's up to you to recognize these patterns to end your karmic debt. The longer it takes for karma to serve you the more harsh your punishment or the grander your reward will be.
You'll know when positive karma is headed your way when random bursts of happiness come over you. Worry alleviates you and feeling light in spirit has overcome you. Often feeling hopeless can be a sign as well; right when were about to give up-is usually when the universe sends our rewards or grants our wishes
The reason humanity experiences karma and animals don't, despite the good or bad things they do to each other; is because we have an emotional intelligence that
animals do not have. We have an intellectual connection to the universe. In the animal kingdom they do experience their own version of karma, but it's in a primal sense where it's not considered a reward or punishment but the circle of life. The dog chases the cat, the cat hunts the mouse and the mouse eats nuts and grains; So on and so forth.
Again, the longer our negative and positive karma comes the grander the serve will be. Remember The Universe doesn't forget either.
As mentioned that we live in a checks and balances universe--we are constantly in a state of giving and receiving. When you are experiencing negative or positive karma you are paying and receiving a debt to divine source; you are equalling out the imbalance that was shifted within our spectrum.
WHY THE UNIVERSE AND NOT GOD?
I understand that some people prefer to say Universe instead of God or God instead of the universe--when really they are one and the same. A divine power orchestrating this entire thing...including us as people with the free will we have. I.E. we are vessels for God or The Universes divine work.
Because our generation has experienced a negative connotation with the word God, such as: dictatorship, fear, jealously, anger, vengeance and the hypocritical judgement of the church... some have decided to recognize the other divine forces that aid the divine source that is around us. Such as angels, mother nature, spirit guides and ascended masters; which I will get into at another time.
and here goes my favorite message to share....
If there is anything I'd want you to take away from this, I want you to remember that your life is a book, and the divine orchestration happening around you is the greatest writer. If you read any story from front to back and the protagonist had the perfect life; he got the job he wanted, the girl he wanted, made a million dollars at the time frame he wanted...everything was smooth sailing at every first attempt you'd think the book is boring! And most importantly they're are no lessons to learn from; there's no growth and you may just despise the main character because without struggle his life almost seems purposeless
Your life is a book and the twists and turns are the interesting cliffhangers to your story. Be patient, sometimes it gets tough but enjoy the ride and know that point in your life is temporary. Every Disney character has to learn something before they live here happily ever after. Every superhero has to fail before they reach greatness...and that goes for you too <3
